The other changes I’d like to see are mainly accessibility related I wish there was a way to trap the ball so I can aim a shot better without the ball hitting the bumper behind the flipper, and it would be a bit more fair if the Bricks powerup couldn’t spawn bricks on the lower half of the table and if the flipper actually had a falling animation rather than immediately dropping down to prevent some weird physics interactions. Perhaps a way to fix this would be to increase the cost of new tables slightly but then award two stars per island hit on the 2nd table, three stars per hit on the 3rd, etc., to better give the player something to work for and improve at. Stars are harder to get on all tables after the first, so they only exist for high score but since high scores don’t come with star rewards, the first table is always the best for gaining stars. Most notably, there’s nothing incentivizing the player to actually play the later tables. I really love the concept of this game but I find the design falls a little short.
